A Prayer a Day

Occasionally I dream of horses' splendor

 of oceans' depth rich and fertile

of eagles soaring elegantly 

across the skies of my eyes

 informing my soul

 of innocence safely

 growing in the maternal 

arms of harmlessness

mitigating danger 

 cruelty free

Sometimes I imagine I am flying 

high above the greenest
 country side of ancient lands

and my heart is overflowing 

with

 a

bottomless

curiosity

that

 leads 

me

 onward

into the brilliance 

of divinity’s delight
