a flower

a song-bird hour
a welcome smile
a glance enchants
a heart’s delight
a new romance
a day a night
to reap to sow
a strangers’ eyes
a moonlit glow
a “cat-a-luscious” purr
a child wise
a happy dance
a sweet surprise
a scent familiar
recognition within
a lover’s yearn
“where have you been?”

show thyself to me

forever musing thee
