brothers and sisters
mothers and fathers
 grandpas and grandmas
 uncles and aunts
cousins and friends
companions and lovers
we all need
 air and water
 food and sunlight
we all breathe oxygen
we are hearts pumping blood
we have bodies active with
 emotions and dreams
 we are electric
we are each a part of nature
we are each a part of godliness
we are souls
exploring the mortal depths
yearning to know
 seeking to understand
reaching to see
