A Prayer a Day

Some days
doubt haunts me
And I admit to my
mortal self my insecurity
Then I follow it like a
detective on a chase
meeting this insecurity
face to face
Then my spirit activates
my inner sight and increases
(thank god), my inner light,
nudging me to let go the
mumbo -jumbo... jibber -jabber
invading my mind
Then I follow this doubt all the way to its roots
To gently turn the sacred soil of awareness
To farm more seeds of trust and inspiration
