what god
only knows
we
mere mortals
get to see but
a glimmer a glimpse
a flash a fleck a speck
of the whole
divine landscape
the heavenly vista
the eternal truth
oh but to witness
the whole of it all
to share the clear
light of the sacred mystery
that we shall all be called
to return to someday
