A Prayer a Day

It saddens me these days that
  humanity has such an enormous
appetite for punishment and condemnation

My prayer is that we focus to give more attention to the
the task of consciously mending the collective heart

We each and all hold a seed of a greater intelligence
with the potential to hone the tools of high mindedness
affording us the capability to access our better angels

May we this day
collectively favor to
retrieve our spiritual skill-sets
 and return ourselves to love
