climbing the latter
breaking the seal

waltzing on red roads
in bodies that feel
 the continual spin
the tin of the deal

to the root of the truth
to the young to the old
 to the light to the dark
to the soulful and bold

to the flame to the spark
to the glory… behold
to the songs of the lark
to the stories…be told

to the magic of rhythm
to the mystical lyric
to the priming of stillness
to the birthing of spirit
