Keeping count of the
countless moments
Each day
Each wave of the ocean
Every butterfly wing
Each and every holy
aria the great singers sing
And the moon's dance
How many times
has she gone full
since we were born into flesh
And how many sunrises
have risen before our eyes
And how many sacred
promises have been sworn
Oh let us pray
we stay on planet blue
long enough to see love
shine through on every face
