A Prayer a Day

As my cat sits upon my lap
I am musing the next prayer/poem to write
Still filled with the dream that played through the night
Wondering what comes next in the
scheme of things, out in the
wide wide world … another
balancing act… needed perhaps
for what mortal reality brings
I think of the fragile
I think of the strong
For conscious correction
when our life’s direction is wrong
Chanting for peace
Praying we see
Privileged as humans
Humbled to be
Listening,
