A Prayer Day

I am here gratefully

with all that is breathing

Missing those whose spirits

have let go their breath

to be delivered

I appeal to the sacred and the divine

to hold close and guide my perceptions

That I wake to correct within myself

what cries out loud for correction

Give me the courage

to rearrange my inclinations and

to activate with wisdom my hesitations

Glory be the heart of humanity

May we lift ourselves with

paradigms of light

into arenas of love

unconditional
