A Prayer a Day

Periodically, I muse on the
Seeds of reality, the mystery, the cycles of life
Our bodies, lungs and hearts and minds made manifest
What and why and where are we from
I can’t query this enough
Again in an overwhelm of stillness
How have we even come to be here
Perhaps, we’re mystical, magical,
miraculous creatures sent here
to make love to this planet
To learn the languages of nature
All is an enigma, a complexity
No matter how deep the
exploration, still we do not know
We believe in this and we believe in that
And these beliefs are our handles, our reasoning for being
Engaged we are with imagination and dreams
inspiration and vision and each breath in between
Ode to the poetry of life
To the vibrations of the unseen
To the beauty of each mortal moment
And to the gifts of the eternal mystery
