A moment comes 

An instant goes

Another day flies by

Another word spoken

 Another heart or two or three or ten broken 

whenever separation is imposed

I suppose humanity 

Is working it through 

Oh Lord, what on this earth shall we do 

To make it better /To honor the troops 

To rally the peacemakers 

To converse with the mind shakers 

To journey with angels at night 

Making it better /Making it bright 

Taking a turn onto pathways of honesty 

Making it right

 Collectively praying 

Looking and reaching 

Forging eternal sight
