A Prayer a Day

I’d like
to learn
the language
of the clouds
To interpret their
shape-shifting, as
they float overhead
Perhaps attempting
to tell us ancient stories
To inspire us with their
fascinating and awesome
beauty and grace
I do wonder
Are they signaling us ?
Are they instructing us ?
Are they calling for our attention to say,
“This life is in all ways and always shall be
a sacred and holy mystery, a divine and precious gift.”
“Why not flow, letting go, into the ocean of divine existence.”
