A Prayer a Day

Is it not within our nature to feel
pleased, when uplifting another ?
Does it not make us feel our authentic
selves, when assisting others in need ?
When our actions heal are we not healed ?
Isn't it a joyous moment when transforming
a child's tears into an abundance of laughter ?
Human nature intrinsically desires
to be genuinely helpful, as a part of the whole.
We are heart beings, more than capable
of caring, from the original roots
of ourselves, pray the goddess,
when in our right minds.
Let us pray this day that the parts of us
that have been wounded by ego, be healed.
That all parts broken be repaired.
That all missteps be sanely guided back on track.
And that every lost soul be made to feel
found again through wisdom and love.
