A Prayer a Day

Born we are
to bond in love
Delivered
(pray the goddess)
into caring hands
Spiraling on this wheel of life
Holding on for good reason
Letting go (when necessary)
One hand after another,
after another, after another
Riding the waves of time and space
Then at a precise and organic moment,
years gone by (hopefully) we fly off... back
into spirit, having realized something of value
that feeds our souls and fuels our consciousness
Having explored the extreme mystery of mortality
