A Prayer a Day

To sleep undisturbed
through the pitch of night
Waking rested into a new day's light
To feel safe and secure in a room of my own
To have freedom to wander and places to roam
To have clean running water and a roof overhead
A spirted body blessed with gods daily bread
Friendship and laughter and a solid heart beat
Clothes on my back and shoes on my feet
I Am That I Am
Here and now seeing
I Am That I Am
Here and now being
Alive and well
Humbled of attitude
Alive and well
Overwhelmed with gratitude
