Floating through
the night half asleep
half awake feeling the spirit
of a beloved who has gone into the light
Whispering memories
flowing in and out of awareness
Reliving our divine journey
shared through time
Oh the cycles
the cycles, the cycles
of life
The spirals
of love, laughter
tears and strife
Everything has changed
Taken in a moment
The world has rearranged
You are gone
Now nothing is the same
And we are stunned-humble
Reminded once again
How precious each breath
