A Prayer a Day

We are each (in our own way) different
Yet, we are all basically the same
We are each made body, mind and spirit
blood, guts and emotions
Walking, talking human miracles
Living, breathing, sometimes angels
We all need personal space
And we indeed need to feel
a part of a whole... to know we belong
here interacting and cooperating with each other
For there is no doubt that we will not survive without
brotherhood/sisterhood /humanhood
Let use refine our capacity to respect,
honor, and love one another...pray god.
Again and again I invoke the sacred source
within to lift humankind to collectively
grow our souls and to recognize
we are born divine creatures of the light
