A Prayer a Day

Some
might say
humanity
is born of a
god/goddess
dream
If that
be the case,
it could be said
that he/she
is in the middle
of an outrageous
nightmare,
given the loveless
behavior of a select
group of mortals
affecting the
collective psyche of so many
innocent beings living on this mother planet
Others might say that
he/she/they /them/us/ we are ONE
Here growing our souls, and everything
that is happening is part of the process
of becoming pure light with sacred sight,
witnessed by the didvine eye of the god/goddess
I myself have faith in the better angels of humankind
eventually opening our wings to the warm
whisper of the holy breath, lifted in love
