She brings love's warmth to the infant child
She is the goddess of the unconditional
Supplying nourishment
Humble in style
She is mother
Sacred of heart
Standing in spirit light
Healing of art
Trained is her inner sight
For earthly dealings
Soulful her holy might
Impassioned her feelings
And when she hears the cry
of innocent life being pierced
Her solution's swift and sound
Her action's keen and fierce
Always holding higher ground
Tossing compassion seeds
Out ...'round and 'round
Praying ....forgiving
Bearing lifetimes of living
In holy ocean of giving
Divine love being sown
Mothers' love holding her own
