A Prayer a Day

I voted yesterday
like a responsible citizen.
There was a long line of enthusiastic,
patient people, grateful, I being one of them.
Praying it all turns out peacefully,
intelligently, and truthfully realised.
Ode to the respect and integrity
resonating in hearts everywhere.
Calling for a wholesome, collective
healing across the land, shared in joyous
celebration of freedom, love and life itself.
A tall, tall sacred order.
Finallly and successfully
climbing up upon a holy ladder of light.
Reaching the summit of sanity together.
