“We Thrive In Nature As A People”

A Prayer a Day
10/20/2026
Mother Nature heals us
She calls up our better angels
We thrive in nature as a people
Respectfully, I say this can’t be denied
She is one of life’s grandest miracle workers
Walking through Central Park
(for example) yesterday I was
breathing in all her wonder
Surrounded by trees
Standing tall and lush
Majestic and wise
Beyond divine
Inhaling the delicious smell of cut grass
Coming upon an assortment of canines
permitting me to say hello and pet
opening my child-like heart
within… wider and wider
Loving dogs so much!
Seeing so many
precious and beautiful
babies carried
on their fathers’
trust-worthy shoulders
Watching children play in a
display of their tender innocence
Strolling around the reservoir
reflecting the warmth of gods light
Oh and a rainbow too!
The ducks at the boat house
paddling all in an artful row
The outdoor cafe buzzing in the sun
All this pleasure -treasure being
shared with other smiling faces
passing by.. walking beside
my dear friend
Flowing in my body/mind…
a growing awareness of the privilege
of being a part of this god/goddess natural world
I am humbled
Life is good
Listening,
Rev.Mudra
