A Prayer a Day

08/19/2020

An

organic

seemingly

spontaneous

 event can surprise

even the most prepared

even those most awakened

Who knows what the day will bring

Who knows what melodic cry the songbird will sing

With what force the wind will blow the flames of nature's desire

What will the curiously inspired explorer find

What will the innocent stranger bring to ones' mind

Praying for flexibility of thought, body and emotion

With every breath we take let us sway with conscious acceptance

Dancing with life

Embracing the unexpected

In the arms of holy possibility

A Prayer a Day

08/17/2020

Long ago and far away

the only reality

was and still is …. the NOW

NOW is where everything gets done

Where the seeds of tomorrow are laid to grow

NOW is where the problems get solved

Where consciousness lives

Even if we attempt

 to run away from

 the “what’s so”

NOW remains before us

BEING

HERE NOW

It is the only way to be

The only place we can be

Let us face the NOW to see

NOW is loyal to the moment

NOW is where the truth lies

NOW is what we are breathing

A Prayer a Day

08/16/2020

Let it be

that we

shall see

as far and

 as wide

 as the

deepest

 heart

And

 as

clear

and

as

 pure as

a living river

flowing with the

 vibrations of spirit

holy inspiring the all of humanity

A Prayer a Day

08/15/2020

Ask and then listen

Open your mind and drop your resistance

Allow life’s discomforts to inform you

Chant for better days for all the world

Give what you can and receive with appreciation

Nurture the life you have been born into

Humbly serve with the spirit of love

Honor your divinity

Walk this earth respectfully and harmlessly

Pray for political wholesomeness

Let go of pretenses

Embrace the light

Be the peace you wish for

A Prayer a Day

08/14/2020

Where does the truth live?

Is it in between each breath?

Is it somewhere vibrating in shades of grey?

Is it flowing from left to right ?

Is it circling the globe over and over?

Is it in the eyes of a newborn?

Is it in the silence of a moment?

Is it riding the waves of time?

Is it on the tongue of consciousness?

Is it in the heart of innocence?

Is it on the lips of love?

Is it resonating in the soul of humanity?

A Prayer a Day

08/13/2020

Thank

the goddess

for the flowers and bees

for humming birds and the glory of trees

Thank

the goddess

 for oceans and rivers

for lakes and for streams

Thank

 the goddess

 for ideas and answers

 for visions and dreams

Thank the goddess

 for time and for space

and for all in-betweens

Thank

 the goddess

for the luxury of living

and the miracle of giving

Thank

the goddess

for the soul of the dove

and all heartbeats of love
