A Prayer a Day

There is no grace in living
pointing guns at each other.
No good comes from deliberately
hurting a sister or a brother.
Pray lord ......we stop fighting.
Pray lord we cease wounding
each other... life time after life time.
Pray lord.... cruelty a thing of the past.
May we direct human efforts
toward healing our perceptions
to collectively grow in creative ways.
May hearts open... minds expand
and actions be focused on love.
Holy Mother may we live in our
world with reason and sanity.
