A Prayer a Day

So much taking place on the mortal stage might reveal to those who are awake and conscious, the dire lack of balance in the nervous system of the human race.
Unfortunately human ego has been and continues, in all too many instances to perpetuate with violently dramatic approaches, in order to win its’ position.
I’d like to pray that there is perhaps the exception of an effort in some remote village, where a few high minded selfless souls hold the light for all of us.
I pray to god there is such a cluster of saints some place praying for all of mankind to feed our sacred heart of innocence.
May I wake every day joining them with hope in the core of me, that a transformation in our overall perceptions as a people, brings about a quantum leaping in the way we are living with each other.
It is not a childish notion for those of us who’ve come to realize that the material is secondary to that of the human spirit, which is far more important than collecting coins.
Though I do not deny the need for coins
in our pockets to negotiate the needs of our vulnerabilities.
My prayer this day is that we collectively realize a balance in our behavior toward each other and that we order our priorities.
Let us honor our precious life force
along with all of Nature.
Let us discontinue the brutal and excessive exploitation of this divine planet and its miraculous wildlife.
Let us thoughtfully work together to sustain a way of living that owns in and of itself a holy grace for us to manifest and thrive in peaceful harmony.
