A Prayer a Day

Who among us raises battles against the flow of human nature and why?

Who among us is threatened by that which is natural in us 

and why ?

Who among us clings so vehemently to fixed beliefs of behavior

 and man made moral codes that do not serve the whole and why?

Does anyone among us own the soul of another?

Does anyone among us have sacred authority to impose

 what one can and can not do, 

how one should or should not live,

or who one should or should not dare to love?

Attempting to control the morality of others 

ultimately can and often does crush the very seeds of inspiration and wholesome impulses that are needed for us to choose ultimately in ourselves our own moral paths. 

Let us this day still ourselves to commune with the living spirit that is us,

 remembering we came into being to breathe deeply in love and as love with sacred wings spread wholly and open hearted.

May we be gentle.

May we be harmless.

May we live true.
