A Prayer a Day

Change is absolute on every breath taken
And each exhale releases
the vestigial and the no longer viable
Chanting farewell to those
raising sail and journeying onward
Standing watch while the
great sun retires yet another day
And as each moment takes leave of us
never to return .... a pure new
moment arrives.... as sacred currency
yearning to be molded into miracles
