I wake

 I catch an image in the mirror

 I remember to smile at my own being-ness

I take the moment to feel love reflecting 

 I am instantly lifted 

I stretch my arms in freedom

I bend my spine

 down 

up 

down 

around 

side to side

I appreciate and encourage needed flexibility

I keep in mind

 I am mortal and my body is impermanent

I celebrate that I am spirit walking 

 I become gratitude personified

I ask myself 

“What shall I do with the gift of this day?”

 And I listen
