again we return

beckoning spirits

bodies to yearn

warmed by the sun 

informed in the night

working 

and

 dreaming

souls 

seeking 

flight

in between breaths

mortality asks  

what are the reasons 

what are the tasks

over and over

high up and low 

rushing the river

catching the flow
