A Prayer a Day

 Too much time is spent on identifying 

ourselves as separate from one another

Pray we cease breeding fear and aggression 

and passing the vibrations on that 

are contaminating our innocence 

 Too many labeling laboratories 

Yes, we may look different, 

sound different, 

move in different rhythms

But we each bleed 

We each breathe

We all cry 

We all die

We all need

 to belong 

  to love

to be loved

to be heard

 to be seen

to be free 

to be ourselves

Whether

 black, blue, brown,

 white, peach, yellow,

 pink, orange, red 

Every color resonates  

 a vital part of a mystical thread

Together we are a miracle 

A miracle that has us being humans
