beseech 

thee

Please

put out these 

earthly fires 

 Make it rain 

 where rain 

is needed

Disarm

all

 killers

Shake the hateful madness

from the minds of all peoples

Calm hearts and heal the sickness

 permeating the paradigms of politics

I AM praying for spiritual intervention 

with all due respect paid to free will
