A Prayer a Day

I shall keep on praying 

I shall keep on displaying

 gratitude for life 

loyalty to the unknown

sensitivity to the 

innocence

 that is born to

 each of us

I shall keep on praying 

to forgive and be forgiven 

I shall continue to pray 

for dear ones in spirit

 for loved ones in struggle

 for the sick and the despairing 

And this day I pray

 with deep passion

that mortal minds of madness be

made sane by conscious and collective acts of love
