It is not easy 

being a 

clearheaded-openhearted

 human

In fact it is

 not in the least bit 

“a walk in the park”

 being mortal

It takes 

real grit and courage 

facing trial after trail

to get it right

 And the kicker is 

there is no absolute

as to what is right 

I do know this much

 if I can keep my love flowing 

and choose to be as kind

 and as thoughtful as possible 

with each encounter

as well as within 

my own thinking

about self

 I have a good

 chance at cracking

 the code
