A Prayer a Day

Time and space experiences
resonate a sacred mystery in my soul
Why humanity lives in constant dire
struggle, wrestling with itself
and peace often cries unattainable,
in the body of the collective,
I muse to understand
Though I am awed and amazed
by the abundance of miracles
( holy available)
to loving hearts and open eyes,
painfully, I witness the misguided ways
in which human beings choose to
behave toward one another
I pray with compassionate concern
beckoning sisters and brothers to
make the choice to sow
the breath of days
in harmless harmony
May we evoke
(here and now)
a clarity to befall upon
our mortal filters,
through which we perceive
And with sincere effort,
may we harness the truth
and the gift of this divine reality
we were born to share in unity
