A Prayer a Day

The truth is being badly bruised
The truth is being battered and torn
The truth has been kicked to the curb
I pray for a mending of our humanity
For a mending of the collective soul
For a mending of our mortal perceptions
For a refinement of our paradigms and a return to love
From the eyes of consciousness, so many tears are falling
Hearts are crying out for purity of sight and clarity of mind
Mean spiritedness contributes nothing
It only harms… for it is void of wisdom
May we cool the flames of ego
Listen to the sacred voice within
And from the roots of
courage and integrity
together
let us
seek
to
speak
the
truth
