A Prayer a Day

I ask how you are
because I care about you
I tell you I love you,
because I do love you
I pray to stay mindful of my tone
of voice when I speak because it is wise
to remain awake and aware of how
the vibrations of my being impact others
I do my best to live my truth
I choose to be as gentle
and as kind as is possible
I thank the great creator every day
for each breath I take as I face the here and now
