A Prayer a Day

Stubborn though I may be at times,
I have felt the grace of flexibility,
when listening to consider
another point of view.
Opening my mind ….adjusting.
Choosing a different way of seeing.
Gazing through a filter of love.
Inviting a new way of perceiving.
Sometimes having to bear
the discomfort of riding the
waves of the unfamiliar.
Oh but then to discover how
exhilarating it is to happen upon
a brighter, deeper light
of understanding.
