Wearisome and worrisome
Are the amalgams of arguments
And mad-minded politics
Acted upon these days
Troubling and damaging
Is the misguided insistence
To separate ourselves
From one another
Battling for power
Claiming superiority
Though in truth
You are my sister
You are my brother
Down to the bone
Again asking
Why We and What for
Are We here?
Is it not to share and care for
One another and this blue planet
In the name of love
Nurtured in the sacredness of life
