A Prayer a Day

Whatever it is that is to come next,
we really won't know until it comes
Until we are face to face
with whatever the circumstances
Hopefully we 'll
stand capable and able
to respond with
flexibility of mind and body
Steadfast and willing
to deal with whatever
presents itself
And in so doing, pray we will have
learned something that feeds our souls
