A Prayer a Day

09/07/2020

Rising up from a sleep

I was dreaming deep

Something about

Saint Michael or Saint Jude

And some unexpected confusion or intrusion

I can not recall

After all dreams vanish so fast

Dreams only last

If you

live them

 give them

 share them

with another

a brother

a sister

 a lover

I AM

 awake now

to pray to say

“Let this day be a very good day for the planet,

for the children, for the animals, for the trees.”

“May the greatest love announce herself

and flow on the breeze

to mend the heart

 of humanity.”

A Prayer a Day

09/06/2020

Sharpen my senses

Hone my ability to see what’s so

Open the eyes of my heart and the ears of my soul

that I can discern the differences between reality and make-believe

Let me be a light carrier to reveal the hidden and to honor

that which is wise and holy and humane

Bless this planet and all living beings

Bless the spirit of love and creativity

 "The Sweetest Memories"

Marjorie Lipari©2020

A Prayer a Day

09/05/2020

I hold in my heart

 the sweetest memories

of everyone I have ever loved

For every good time

For all the laughter

For all the joy

The challenges

The struggles

The lessons learned

The surrendered heart

The passions burned

The thrills

The enthusiasm

The whirlwinds

The hard times

 The pain

The sadness

The adventures

The gladness

The good byes

The curtain's falling

The curtain’s rise

The memory of every first kiss

The gamble who knows

 A hit or miss

The stubbornness of a life long crush

The pleasure of love's adrenaline rush

The holy glow in a lover’s eyes

The ecstasy of a shared sunrise

"The Breath of Now"

A Prayer a Day

09/04/2020

In an embrace of silence

I AM That I AM

Surrounded by the elegant

graces of life's vibrating moments

Held in the serene arms of stillness

Gently touched by the presence

of something sacredly resonating

something divinely spiraling

humbling my body/mind

And a great love rises within the heart of me

And a glowing light paints the room

And I AM made aware of

 the many holy possibilities

 riding the breath

of now

"Grooving In The Light"

A Prayer a Day

09/03/2020

The rivers roll on

The oceans roar with wild power

The days fly by hour after hour

And I ask who’s in charge

And I ask who’s in charge

As the moon dances in the sky

And the clouds keep drifting

I AM grateful to be alive

Heart ,mind, body lifting

Grooving in the light

So open to spirit’s gifting

Dreaming through the night

Honing sacred vision

Honing holy sight

"Language of the Clouds"

A Prayer a Day

09/02/2020

I’d like

to learn

 the language

of the clouds

To interpret their

 shape-shifting, as

 they float overhead

Perhaps attempting

to tell us ancient stories

To inspire us with their

fascinating and awesome

beauty and grace

I do wonder

Are they signaling us ?

Are they instructing us ?

Are they calling for our attention to say,

“This life is in all ways and always shall be

a sacred and holy mystery, a divine and precious gift.”

“Why not flow, letting go, into the ocean of divine existence.”

"An Innocent Ear"

Marjorie Lipari©2020

A Prayer a Day

09/01/2020

I pray to release

myself from fixed notions

To lift out of concert belief systems

To cease from digging in my heels

To perceive anew

To hear my heart and spirit’s voice

To open my mindset and to begin again

To welcome

A new day A new way

Fresh as a daisy in bloom

Restored and inspired

To enter a room

 listening with an

 innocent

 ear
