When comes that sacred day
Into the light away away
To fly beyond
To scurry fast
To leap the pond
Let go at last
To disappear
To elevate
To break the code
Unlock the gate
Awake elsewhere
In holy lodging
Soul crystal clear
Pure spirit charging
Casting off this mortal coil
To leave behind this body spoil
Such is my early morning musing
A temperamental mindful cruising
An existential contemplation
Inspired breath of celebration
Another day has been given
Privileged... aren’t I...to be living
