A Prayer a Day

As the sky opens up
As the rain falls
As the earth drinks
Trees are pleased
Gardens grow
Birds gather to bathe
Children giggle in between water drops
Puppies are not amused
Life is getting soaked, but presenting cleaner
Umbrellas are up
Windshield wipers are slapping
Time is truly flowing… flowing
The summer solstice is arriving at 11:54
Coming in through the door
Lovely is this day dressed the color grey
And I am reminded that
Beyond the clouds so high above
The sun shines constant
Blessing this life
with more light and more love
