I would like
to invoke and inspire
the spirit of Saint Francis
into the heart of humanity,
from this day forward.

May we choose to
function in harmless concert
in our relationships with
all animal species.
Actively respectful and caring,
consciously honoring their
innocence and right to live
naturally, decently
and in peace.
🦋
May we cease the cruelty
and barbaric treatment
of nature’s critters
🦋
And while we are at it ,may we treat
each other with a mindfulness
of light and a lovingness
of understanding.
