Optimistically moving forward
with an open mind, attentive eyes, and a full heart
Engaging my emotional intelligence
Trusting my perceptions and a natural instinct
Listening to the now
Focused on the inner voice of spirit
Praying with innocence to hear the truth
with clarity and a respectful acceptance
Knowing what I know
and seeking to know what I do not
Grateful for this new day with another
deep breath of curiosity and inspiration
Feeling blessed hearing
the winged singing outside my door
Loving the sound of the barking dog playing
with abandon in the playground across the street
Praise be to the all of life!
