A Prayer a Day

If sometimes we wear our hearts

on our sleeves, let us be glad for it.

May our expressions of love be clear and gentle and direct.

Why not summon up our energies and

express our unconditional selfless selves with abandon.

Let us this day speak of the ego.

Isn’t it helpful to witness how the voice of ego works?

Sometimes it wills to suggest our ego self

holds more power than the power of all that is.

 

Then it suggests that we have absolutely no power and are

not responsible for whatever mess is in front of us,
we should not care, and encourages us to blame others.

Then it supports us to get in there and

engage in battle.... because we are right!!!!!.

A day or even a minute later, it might turn to accuse us

of being the bad and wrong ones, who actually
made the mess in the first place.

 

In the next instant.... ego is voicing .... "By no means was it ever

our misstep that was destructive, it was always someone else's."

Back and forth loveless and polarizing, internally

and externally throwing us constantly off balance.

Finding fault , breeding guilt,.growing shame, 

promoting self hatred, disempowering,

 separating us from each other

and  from our source of clarity
and our true power....love.

On and on ego continues building and investing in its'

city of contradiction, where only illusional domiciles thrive.

Heart of hearts

carry us forward

dance your strength

 waltz your rhythmic self.

The game of human life pray it be played with love

relaxing ego into submission and resonating us in harmony.

Let us own our love, 

living it freely, as was meant to be.
