A Prayer a Day

The unknown can swing in
like a tidal wave, like a tsunami.
Other times like a gentle breeze or a tender kiss
Somedays present the winning number
Often days present a hit or miss
Mother river runs as she pleases
Father sun rises and sets
The restless soul wanders
The daring mind bets
I pray this day
to go with the flow,
consciously knowing
it’s the only choice
So I take a deep breath
connect to my heart
feel the love that is real💕
and rejoice...being alive being alive
