As humankind scatters
Each breath of life matters
Loving hugs are sorely missed
One another’s touch
is actively dismissed
Like a raging tornado
Like a tsunami of the sea
Like a irruption of a volcano
Confronts humanity
No fooling
We are dueling
with a formidable unknown
Praying on this day
a miracle shall be sown
Praying on this day seeds
of healing shall be grown
Amen! Amen!
