A Prayer a Day

I pray along with all my
many sisters for women’s rights.
I pray for all children walking this earth to be
treated with conscious kindness,
harmlessness, and love.
I pray for the animals and all other species
to be honored and respected, along with
all that nature gives and all she bears.
May humanity turn the corner now to act with
emotional and spiritual intelligence toward one another.
May we collectively listen to our inner wisdom.
May we still our egos
and quell our crazy making selves
to embrace the preciousness of life.
May we alas come to live together in peace.
