A Prayer a Day

Five days into the month of March

Time is traveling swiftly

I’ve no complaints to speak of

My body’s safe and healthy

My friends are loving and loyal

My home and hood are peaceful

My belly is full

My mind engaged

As I humbly

join in prayer this day

for the grace of higher power

to come forth to issue

holy, wholesome relief

upon all

brothers and sisters

who are suffering

in this world

that they shall be lifted up

Oh Holy Mother

in your name

And So Be It
