"Loving Large"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"Praying Power Every Hour"
Marjorie Lipari ©2010

A Prayer a Day

06/30/11

Overflowing sacred strobe

Loving large around the globe

Resting fires’ jaws of traction

Calming raging rivers' fraction

Praying power every hour

Using every word to reach

Humbling voices beg the call

Selfless hearts prepare to teach

Giving selves to causes’ thunder

Opening mind's wings of wonder

Activating dream’s of spirit

Freedom birds indeed now hear it

Being masters of our senses

Mitigating ego trenches

Leaping spinning twirling souls

Living mortals' wholly roles

A Prayer a Day

06/29/11

Some days her eyes grew tired

Some days her body ached

Some days her mind was worried

Some days her senses baked

Some days her human scoped

Some days she barely coped

Some days her words surprised

Some days her truth baptized

Some days her fate supreme

Some days her ego ’d  scream

Some days her heart rode steed

Some days her soul took lead

Some days her de'fense stung

Some days her courage won

Her listening made it clear

Her vision brought her here

"Every Mortal"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"Purple Beech Tree"

A Prayer a Day

06/25/11

Do you wonder if a tree thinks when birds land upon its limbs
“Wow these darling winged chose me”
or
“How can I get any rest around
here what with all that flitting and fluttering and tweeting.

What do you suppose the ocean thinks of floating barges and oil drilling?

Do you think the Sea gets frightened of us ever?

Or do the great oceans just keep rolling along embracing the whole of what’s so ?

What do you suppose a river notices rushing fast past roads and man made erector sets?

I’ve often pondered on July Fourths with all the fireworks
going on, just how natures’ wildlife along with sister/ brother rocks manage to cope?

We mortals do impose ourselves do we not?

We certainly do stretch out and often elbow the rest of reality.

I pray this day we increase our sensitivity to that which exists around us.

Perhaps we might slim down a bit our expanse to consider
the hearts and souls of all others and the natural design of everything.

May we as a species honor all else as well as our elegant selves.

Inviting harmony, balance and peace to prevail within the minds and hearts of every mortal.

 "Piercing the Dark..Igniting the Spark"
Marjorie Lipari©2011
A Prayer a Day

06/24/11

Having a cry

Is good now and then

It cleanses the soul

It makes egos bend

Vision is clearer

Piercing the dark

Working it out

 Igniting the spark

Lucid deep rest

Schooling the night

Relaxes the rage

Avoids the BIG fight

Spirit persuading

Demons abating

Lessons times two

For me and for you

Informing still more

Waves beyond shore

Honoring rituals

For life shall provide

Expansion of hearts

Pray love far and wide

"Songs Of Shower Bathing"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

  "Songs Of Shower Bathing"
A Prayer a Day
06/23/11
When I was a kid a rainy day like
today would seem gloomy and limiting.
Today I appreciate the quiet in the air
and the softness of the grey upon my eyes.
I enjoy the music of birds with their songs of shower bathing.
As I hear New York City car tires spin through the puddles now,
it evokes in me a sense memory of my father, as he would drive off
on a day like today for his work assignments, and my young

heart would yearn with an almost unbearable love for him.

As he disappeared down the street, I missed him instantly.
I miss him in this moment.
I bless him lovingly with all my heart, as I sit
here thankful for everything he gave to me.
Today a stillness pervades in me and
I feel my body vibrating keenly with an aliveness.

Memories are gifts to me, as long as I do not suffer them.
Recalling my history of many good days,
tons of challenges with more than enough lessons
has been and shall remain a powerful enrichment to my soul.
May I never forget what I have already been

taught through every experience I have encountered.

May I carry always a sense of gratitude for ever step
I have taken in this life and may spirit guide me on the road ahead.
I pray for celebration and inspiration.
I pray for vision and sacred decision.
I call to Mother Holy to stay near us always.
I ask Father Light to shine upon us brightly.
I pray for all of us here... gone....and those yet to come.

Shining star

Divinely mortal

"Good Mood'Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"Good Mood" Marjorie Lipari©2001

A Prayer a Day

06/21/11

I remember reading in the i ching
years ago... that our emotions are not reliable.
We cannot expect our fluctuating
emotional system to keep us steady.

When we operate only through emotional filters,

we often get less accomplished and/or we tend to make messes
due to our ego attachments and personal subjectivity.

Human emotions swing like pendulums.

We mortals are mostly quite moody.

Some of us more than others.
Smells,  sounds,  colors, changes in the environment,
a particular event, what someone else does or doesn’t do,
what someone else does or doesn’t say, narrated by our inner dialogues can flip any of us pretty quickly, from one emotional
state of being... rapidly to another.

Staying steady and responsible requires of us
a disciplined intention to remain true to our promises,
regardless of how we may be feeling in a given moment.

Like the waves of the sea... feelings
come and go, rise and fall.

It is important that we remain always true to ourselves and that we honor our feelings, but it is also equally important
that we respect the commitments made to ourselves and others.

Mature prioritizing through spiritual practices
can balance our relationships with our emotional reality.

Meditation is the best way to calm the
fluxing inner ups and downs of human perceptions
that feed our emotional dynamics.

Pray this day for a healthier integration
of our emotional selves through chosen spiritual disciplines,
and the muscle of objectivity to take lead of our purposeful tasks and commitments whether momentarily
we are in good mood or otherwise.

"Refine As You Discover"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

  "White Buddha" Marjorie Lipari©2005
A Prayer Day
06/20/11

Let the divine river of energy flow freely through your body’s limbs like sacred water falls, sparkling in rainbows of glistening angel wings, splashing and whispering
sacred songs that carry the light of your elegant spirit.

Let the wonder and wisdom of the ages
passionately dance in you as you explore the
mystery of your unique soul.

Hey reap.. Hey sow... let go
Embark
Take that next grand holy step
Whatever that is for you...in you
Release the fear of feeling
Open wider the circles
the doors  the gates
The mind of you
Let god in
Let love begin a spin of you again
Renew your being
Rejoice the gift of time....of now
Share in what you find
Refine as you discover

"The Gates Are Open"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"Three On Their Way"Marjorie Lipari©1988

A Prayer a Day
06/19/11

Anything we put our minds to it is said..
we can do... this is not new news

The power of our imagination
is unimaginable....the gates are open

We know our thoughts have consequences
let us seek greater awareness

We know our actions birth reactions
may our intentions be to serve

Till the end of time, if ever there is such an event,
energies will keep morphing in ways that our yesterdays could never have known

Bless all past, present, and future paradigms

In this here and now, let us not listen
with our egos....but rather with our hearts

As others speak let us invite conscious understanding

May our compassion still our inner chaos

May we look to recognize
the truth inside each other

May we harmonize our living
respecting sacred mother...planet earth

Let us leap into the unknown of yourselves

Let us freely walk the golden landscapes of the spirit

Let our love release us to the realms of realization

"The Fragrance of Vibrations"Mystical Philosophy/A Prayer a Day©2011

"Mountain Climb" Marjorie Lipari©1988

A Prayer a Day
06/18/11

Om Namah Shivaya

The energy of words
The fragrance of vibrations
The light of knowing eyes
The growing souls of those now passing
The brilliance of imagination
The possibility of angels
The challenges in new days
The passion of each loyal heart
The journey of surrender
The tightrope walks of change
The charismatic glow of innocence
The call of the unseen
The lessons of the ego
The courage of the mother
The joys of unity
The relief of belly laughter
The comfort of belonging
The privilege being human
The miracle of breathing
The mystery of birth
The love of every moment

Om Namah Shivaya

Bless these circumstances we have found ourselves within

A Prayer a Day

06/17/11

Cold water on her mirrored face

She feels the hands of grace this morning

Instantly erase her tired

To clear her mind of sleepy dreaming

Open eyed in sweet surprise

Another moment’s born

She heeds the call

Above it all

The life she lives

The gifts she gives

Awake to walk and talk the day

To muse again her word ballet

To look inside her being....deeper

The taste of love that is a keeper

She sights emerging holy ones

Her spirit leaps in rooms of suns

Her soul courageous plumbs the night

Her body seals in rays of light

Removing ego’s lethal thorn

Her vow of  harmlessness is sworn

Again

A Prayer a Day

06/16/11

Happy to be alive I thrive on oceans inner deep

More love less war inside my head these days

I AM here for human understanding

I ride the waves of mortal dreams

Prayerful voices speak me humbly

Silence owns the heart of me

Like the dignity of mountains

Like the power of the Seas

All I AM is All I AM

Anchor knowing in the breeze

Moving forward

Now at last

Life

a

sacred

sacred

task
